Maureen qualified as a florist in England after doing her City and Guilds, near London.

She then worked in partnership with Lady Benyon at Englefield House, Berkshire, UK for a number of years. Growing flowers for markets and creating designs with flowers for The House and other ventures for private functions weddings and balls.

After her return to New Zealand over six years ago, she successfully started a business in the Warkworth / Matakana area especially catering for wedding flowers and larger functions throughout New Zealand.
